It warmeth a cold Stomach, and openeth stoppings of the Liver and Spleen, it is good to move Womens Courses to expel the After-birth, to break Wind, to provoke Urine, and help the Strangury; and these things the Seeds wil do likewise, if either of them be boyled in Wine, or being bruised and taken in Wine, it is also effectual against the biting of Serpents.
